MINISTRIES FOR LIFE TO ALL NATIONS

A PERSONAL NOTE

In Pursuit Of Maturity - Also titled Unto A Perfect Man, this 12-class study deals with the need for maturity. Youth comes only once, but immaturity can remain throughout a life time. Two characteristics of every healthy organism is movement and growth. This is also true in the Kingdom of God and is the expressed purpose of the Gospel. And he gave … apostles … prophets … evangelists … pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints … unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…. (Eph. 4:11-115) The Apostle Paul underscores the importance of maturity in his testimony. When I was a child, I spake as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (1Cor.13:11) This study explores the dynamics of growth and seeks to provide an incentive for continuous development in Spirit, Soul and Body. This one-volume/semester study may be taken for 3 credits.

After much abuse and what seemingly appeared as a futile ministry to Jeremiah, he determined to stop speaking in God’s name. " Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name…" (Jeremiah 20:9) There are many in God’s work that have become weary and choose to take it easy in retirement on a golf course or some peaceful setting. Although my ministry has been productive for many years and having no reason to stop, I contemplated retiring from writing and teaching. Jeremiah felt that his usefulness had run its course and determined to call it quits. His choice was short lived. In the same sentence he continued, " But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay."

Like a volcano looking for an opportunity to erupt, I have a burning desire to write and teach. So here I go again. As long as the Lord gives me health, strength, a lucid mind, His anointing and opportunity to do so, I shall continue to run the course He has set for me. The famed sports figure Yogi Berra was succinct when he said "It ain't over till it's over." The same is true for every Child of God. Don’t stop! Use every opportunity to serve our Lord.

The Gall Of Bitterness

A New 12 Class/session Course/Seminar

The same kinds of stresses that unsettled Jeremiah are tormenting present day saints. The
results are broken people, broken relationships and broken testimonies of God’s goodness. As a counselor I am alarmed at the disintegration of the home, the unhappiness suffered by God’s children, the physical sickness and emotional pain. Surely there aught to be a striking difference between the life of a Christian and that of the world. But what we often see is people hanging around with broken people. Where are the promises of God?

The Gall Of Bitterness is an article published in Vision Magazine. It was written following a particularly harsh experience that I had witnessed. It is imperative that we understand the cause of the crises we face and the solution be found and applied. Following the article, a series of 12 classes/sessions were developed. Lord willing, I plan to debut this course/seminar in the country of South Africa in 2010. Should it come to your area, please make every effort to attend it.
