Dr. Wilfred R. Kent is the Founder and President of Today's World Ministries Inc.; Turning Point Guidance and Counselling Services and the International College OF Biblical Counselling.
Born in Canada, he graduated from the Briercrest Bible College with his diploma in general Bible, received his Bachelor of Theology from London Theological Seminary (Tyndale University) and his Master of Science from St. Francis University. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Biblical Life College and Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Inner-city Seminary. His experience includes Psychiatric Assistant, high school teacher, Academic Dean of Christian Training Center, Director of New Life Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center. His ministry as pastor spans a decade. For ten years he directed the Diagnostic and Counselling Services. His is a certified Biblical Life Counselor-Diplomat for the Biblical Life Foundation, a Diplomat in Psychology with the National Board of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists and a Diplomat of the American College of Professional Mental Health Practitioners.

He is the author of 10 books and has written a curriculum of forty university level courses that are designed to teach the principles of the well adjusted personality and productive living in an uncertain world.
Wilf has been interviewed on such national TV Programs as 100 Huntley Street, the CBN 700 Club, Life Styles, TBN in RSA, It's A New Day. He travels extensively and lectures on such subjects as the home, marriage, interpersonal relationships, personal well-being and practical faith and applied theology. Wilf has addressed such groups as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), the South African Army, colleges, universities, professional and service organizations and churches in most major denominations. As a result he is in demand as a public speaker. It is God's anointing that qualifies him at the speaker's stand. Wilf was widowed in 2004. He lives near Denver Colorado. He and his late wife of 44 years parented four married children who have given him ten grandchildren.
