    of Biblical Counselling

The International College Of Biblical Counseling (ICBC) offers a unique concept in adult education, where college comes to you, instead of you "running off to college!" This is done through the Directive Study Program, via audiocassette, CD and/or on-line. Each course offered is professionally sound, Biblically based and meets university standards. ICBC is an affiliate of Biblical Life Collage & Seminary and is a member of and its programs accredited by The American Commission International and The American Federation of Christian Colleges & Schools. ICBC offers a curriculum of 40 university level courses that lead to bachelors, masters, professional and/or doctoral degrees. Additional courses are available through our affiliates. Each course is designed to be practical in its application.

Five types of people benefit from the ICBC curriculum of 40 courses. They are those:

    1. That wish to qualify themselves for ministry to others,
    2. That seek an answers for personal issues,
    3. That wish to apply the material they are studying towards credits or CEU,
    4. That wish to earn a Certificate or a degree in Biblical Counseling (BA, MS)
    5. That direct a cell group or home Bible study group.

    * Students wishing to apply for credits/CEU must fulfill additional requirements for the awards.

    WHO BENEFITS FORM ICBC

credit hours for a bachelor degree. A graduate degree requires an additional 60 credit hours beyond the undergraduate degree and a 40 thousand-word thesis for a masters degree. Professional and doctoral degrees are evaluated on a personal level.

Depending on the student' motivation, the time required will average between 2 to 4 years. Generous transfer credits are awarded when proper documentation is presented, however, a minimum of 50% of the work required for any degree program must be completed directly through ICBC.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO EARN A DEGREE

These figures provide a "thumb-nail sketch" of what it takes to earn an ICBC education. Because ICBC is a non-traditional school, we can be generous with the number of transfer credits. By comparison, the financial requirements for ICBC instruction falls far below the national average for college tuition. However, it is not free. An ICBC education is earned! This is done by hard work, dedication and financial investment.

The formulae used in determining your outlay for an ICBC education is as follows: A one credit hour is earned by investing an average of 13 class hours of study. All course class hours are provided on CD. The undergraduate degree requires 120
